This beautiful large bird sculpture is designed and handmade by Gabriella Binazzi.
 
For this particular sculpture she has used a large clam shell, to replicate the body of a standing bird, the shell doubles as a bowl.
 
She created original and unique objects using natural materials such as ostrich eggs  and exotic shells from the Ocean, like in this piece. These natural elements are mounted with precious materials.
 
The head, neck and feet of the bird are silver plated and brass, in original state and with beautiful patina.
